Landscape Construction:Carpenter

We offer:

• $25-$30 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Framing, installing decks, fencing, pergolas, arbors, privacy screens, planters.
• Concrete formwork.
• Operate trade tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Shooting grade and elevations, site layout.
• Material procurement, handling, quality control.
• Onsite safety leadership and documenting on Site Docs software.

Requirements:

• 2 years (or more) of carpentry experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work
• First aid certificate, valid additional construction safety courses an asset.
• Can take direction and manage tasks independently.
• Ability to read blueprints, perform site layout, know grades and elevations.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Hands-on work experience with a wide range of commercial/new build projects.
• Experience working in the construction/building materials industry, preferably with landscaping, interlocking, decking, and lumber materials a strong asset.
• A keen sense of pride in the company, products, and services you represent.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship.
• Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure with excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
